About the Course
Batik is one of the ‘resist’ processes for making designs on fabric like tie n dye, shibori and serti technique. Using wax on fabric to prevent dye from penetrating the cloth. Batik is especially unique because the wax crackles. It can be done with many types of dye or fabric paints and waxes on cotton, silk and other natural fabrics.
