About the Course
Paper mache is a popular craft technique that uses paper and paper paste to create a variety of objects. Paper mache is a unique medium in art and is an artistic way of recycling. It is a versatile and affordable medium, as well as being eco-friendly. Today, work ranging from small objects to big products or installations is being done with paper mache. Of the two main techniques, clay-based paper mache made from paper is used for modeling, while layered paper mache technique is used to create layered mache products. This two-month certificate course is designed for students interested in paper mache to gain knowledge of the materials and techniques used in paper mache and create beautiful and useful paper mache objects or products from the layer-by-layer paper technique or paper clay technique. The objective of this course is to refine the creative skills of the hidden talents of students interested in paper craft. After gaining knowledge of different types of materials and techniques in paper craft, students will be able to do work like Decorative Bowls, Paper Mache Mask, Creative Wall Hanging items, Figurative Work - Human, Figure Work - Animals or Birds, etc. In this course, students will get a chance to enhance their creativity and do the best work in paper craft. The institute encourages students to devote more and more to creativity and helps build up their confidence level in making their career. In this course, students can integrate a variety of professional and creative skills and at the end of the course they also receive a certificate. We aim to provide the right knowledge and guidance to the students and create an environment that not only leads the students to the path of success but also motivates them to identify and explore their potential.
